Jackets carry the most detail-dependent risk in this directory: hardware, lining and shell fabric are rarely described in full on a listing.

• Confirm which layer the listing is actually selling — shell only, lined, or insulated — from the photos and text, not the title.
• Zips, snaps and drawcords are the parts most visible in inspection photos later. Note what they look like in the listing now.
• Outerwear is heavier, so the shipping portion of your total cost will be a larger share than for a tee.
